If anyone remember a couple years ago 2 RCHA started the restoration of a 1940 11 Cab FGT, with the body and chassis work completed on base with various units helping out.
This was featured featured on the tv show
Restoration Garage Season 5 episode 12. Said to say the episode just had the engine and transmission arrive, with their "Master Mechanic" doing quick assessment with pulling the crank and pistons. Needless to say not much effort was put into the engine, with box of parts and the block returned with only the transmission being rebuilt.
I have been lucky (or cursed) to get a hold of this basket case and start the process of rebuilding it.
