Staghound 526 was totally restored in my shop - Dan Dolan of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and completed in Fall of 2022. Sold to a gentleman in Netherlands where it now resides. Restoration included many NOS parts form 20,000 pounds of spares and NOS parts purchased in Australia in a lot and with two completely rebuilt drive trains (engines and transmissions). No. 19-set was installed along with a set of original rubber and canvas covered roll off tanks and belts. Fenders were not repro, as many are - had original beaded, rolled, edge and without major dents , rust, or holes. Interior, as displayed in the Australian museum, was totally unrestored, rusty, but largely complete with original turret basked and drive motor. The drivetrains, however, were completely missing. I sourced used ACR and ACL engines complete with transmissions from Belgium and had them professional overhauled, test stand-run for 12 hours and the reinstalled in the vehicle and run for 4 hours on the road with all systems tested. New stainless steel fab’ed mufflers installed with 45 degree turned-up (nonstandard) exhaust pipes to reduce dust. New 14.00X20 22-ply run flats installed (Littlefield Auction purchase). Hydrovacs were professionally restored in Detroit with new O-rings and leathers. Also installed all NOS brake cylinders and master cylinder. NOS voltage regulators installed; new brake lines and hydraulic hoses were manufactured and installed. All new oil hoses to coolers and transmission seals and clutch packs for the hydramatics installed during rebuild. Functional onboard CO2 system installed with correct valves, dated tanks and pull wires.
