As you can see from the above post.... the welt.... canvass tape with some tar impregnated..... is only on the vertical side near the cab door side.... the bottom is just rolled.... leaves about a 3/8 gap.....

See the next picture..... you can see the back of the inside cab panel.... and the area where dirt could accumulate and caused rust holes....... the cowl side piece should not be touching the fender.

See the heavy welting..... rubber type held in place with tiny brass rivets....... on both the rad shell and near the base of the windshield.

I ahve saved a few samll pieces of the canvas and rubber welting for later guide to new repro material.
