Default Teleprinter

Model 15 teletype machine at the Brisbane US Army signals centre WW2.

The PMG here used large numbers of these machines, and they were very popular with ham radio guys, I had one, but I didn't get it working on air. The RTTY mode enabled radio transmission of messages...

The device next to the 15 is a tape perforator or reader. It punched holes in a 1 inch paper tape .
