I would like to express my gratutude also with deep
feelings especially for all the Mothers who gave their
precious sons and daughters to the cause of that horrible
conflict of 60 years ago. When I see this continuous
repetition that Mothers of today are suffering from war, all I
can do is hope for change. When I look at the beauty of
nature it make me realize that there is still hope.

Norm ... and a belated Mothers Day best regards and thoughts to Betty from me and Geoff.
The whole day, as I saw the Vets in Ottawa, I thought of the Mom's of all the young men and women who fought for us in WW2, including three special Vets I met ... I was awed to be part of the parade sitting with three wonderful Vets in Stewart Loy's carrier (Thank you, yet again, Stewart, and Mary, for having me along for such an incredible, memorable, and for me, emotional, experience. It's unforgettable ... and of course, thank you Geoff, for without you, I never would have had this amazing opportunity to begin with) .... anyways ... yes, I thought of these men's mothers while they were off fighting ...
Yes Norm, I agree, there is still hope for all of us ... it's in the eyes and hopes of our kids and grandkids and great grandkids ... and so on ...
And by the way ... Norm, did I say a personal and special thank you for your part? Well ... I do.
And I know that gorgeous rose is one of your amazing photographs ... beautiful, as they all are (you know how I love your flowers photos best) Anyone who can love beauty enough to want to catch it and preserve it ... has to have heart, and in the heart there is always hope.
I smell my lima beans and bacon cooking, must go stir them now
