I haven't the letter of the law in front of me right now, and being at work can't take the time to find it, but it is my understanding that while dewats are still legal, those 'lifelike' repros were banned quite some time ago. Can anyone more involved in the firearms world verify this for me, one way or another? If I have to eat crow, I will have it well-done with a white sauce and cold white wine, but let's establish this for once and for all; given our popularity in the WW2 community, I prefer to err on the safe side.
