I found this photo originally at the Nat'l Archives. It was taken at Small Arms Limited (not at Inglis) where the wood stocks were made . SAL is better known by its location, Longbranch, than by its real name. Ear protection would have been redundant. The pistol has no barrel, trigger or any other guts. It is engraved at the front of the slide "WOODSHOP INSPECTION".
