carriers
The carrier is marked Z1 and is the CO's carrier, probably that's the rest of BHQ behind them.
I've seen, and can vouch for (in Infantry units):
W1,W2,etc, presumably Wireless (sigs) Pl
M1,M2, etc, for Mor Pl
Carrier Pl, Pioneer Pl, TPT Pl all had carriers, but I have no gospel on their markings...
any ideas?
