CMP canvas came in sand, khaki and brown, depending on the colour of the truck, i.e. Light Stone #61, Khaki Green #3 (later U.S. Olive Drab) and Brown #2 (see
paint schemes for CMP trucks). You will need to search, but there must be alternatives to standard OD green truck tarp fabric which is seen on every Jeep, Beep and Jimmy. For example, I know a couple of restorers in the UK who every now and then acquire sand coloured offcuts from a local tarp manufacturer.
