Ah yes, I do love avacados! Hey Ma, speaking of food, why don't we start a thread about New Years and food traditions? Here in the South there is a very popular tradition of eating Black Eye peas and corn bread on New Year's Day in order to bring good luck for the rest of the year. (....and y'all thought it was Bowl games and beer lol!) I don't know the origins of this but it is so prevalent round here that a local bank drops off a can at every door throughout the city as a promotion.
Any one else wish to share their New Year's tradition?
