You asked if I would let you know when I got any news of the shipment from LWD in Broek op Langedijk. Well Damco phoned today and said they expect the skid on Feb. 6. I am a little sketchy on details as the lady on the phone had Chinese as a first and maybe only language. Between my old age, Chinese, garage noises and a crappy phone I had some difficulty.
She had trouble understanding that I don't have a broker and Brian and I will do it ourselves. It means a trip to Pearson for Canada Customs and then probably another trip for Brian to pick up the skid when things clear. I know there are other guys on the forum with parts coming so hopefully we will have things sorted out by the end of the week. We left it that this lady will fax me with all the proper forms etc. on Monday. This is just like Christmas isn't it?
