A couple of carrier questions
I came across a couple of photos on the IWM site that have got me puzzled. Can anyone help me out with answers to either please.
BU 2486. This is a photo of a 6th King's Own Scottish Borderers carrier called Wedderlie. I have been informed that this named after a small farm site.
Does anyone know of anymore names from 6th KOSB?
GM 00083. This is a photo of a carrier on Malta sporting the serial 7070.
Did Malta have it's own serial format as I have 7070 down as a A13 Cruiser.
