Ive since found the Lift the Dot company website. They list all the different kinds they make.
However all the studs that seem to be available now are ones that have a threaded rod below them. I could pass it through the wood seat back and then just use a nut. However the originals are like the one in my picture. I can't find any reference to these.
Both stud and screw are 1/2 inch long

If the female part is threaded on the ones that you can find it is just a matter of some countersunk screws of the same thread to complete your two piece snap..
Could be 1/4" or 3/16ths National Course(NC) ...
Can the threaded rod unscrew from the ones you can find../?
And you should be able to find the originals at an automotive upholstry shop..
