So very true,we are losing those WWll vets at the rate
of some 2000 everyday.Many of here have lost someone
of that generation. Now many of these kids sign on just
for the goverment will give them.That being said they
sign on for 11B or straight leg infantry,they did not know
there was a chance that they might be sent some were?
Now as I understand the rate for desertion is even higher,
I will never be able understand the thought pattern.
