Default My best effort......French that is....

First thanks for the clarification on the Eastern Steel products.....

Please refer to the pictures above to follow what Michel is asking.

Dear readers........ (I like him already he thinks we can read.)

We are an association of French collectors and members of an association loacted in the Provence 44 in the South of France.

We have acquired a Ford of Canada F30. (not lucky it could have been a Chevrolet)

WE are currently restoring the cargo box which was fabricated by Eastern Steel Product Limited. Model 43/6 (probably date of manufacture) Model 7D2....serial number 1012... this information was recovered from the builders ID tag.

It seems that some central parts have been cut out ( the spare tire bracket is still in place)....(if original???) .

We are looking for documentation and detailed photographes to recreate the missing pieces / components.

...end of translation.

First of all who was the French guy that rebuilt the C8.... was for sale for a while.... they should be in touch with one another...... any suggestions from our members of who could help them on the Continent.

I am curious about that F30...... I have seen similar rigs on Dodges for bomb tenders..... what is that one????

Is there really lots missing from the middle of the cargo box???

Alex.... do you have better pictures from your manuals...

A CMPer in need is a friend in deed!!!!!

Michel....reste a l'ecoute pour des details.

Bob
