From my 1942 British Ford i.d. sheets:

1. WOT1with 6-wheeled Sussex conversions from County Commercial Cars Ltd. including Ministry of Supply (South Africa Defence Force) Searchlight Lorry with auxiliary gearbox
2. E917T with 6-wheeled Sussex conversions from County Commercial Cars Ltd. including Ministry of Supply (South Africa Defence Force) Searchlight Lorry including auxiliary gearbox
3. 7V forward control with Surrey OR Sussex conversions
4. E98T with Surrey conversion OR Sussex conversion
5. E91T with Surrey conversion OR Sussex conversion
6. E987T with Surrey conversion OR Sussex conversion
7. E917T with Surrey conversion OR Sussex conversion

Note that there are no 1940 Model designs listed as having the conversions so any would have been either direct orders or perhaps conversion kits sent out from CCC Fleet, Hampshire to Port Elizabeth Ford plant. Alternatively there may have been Thornton conversions.
