Garry the Italeri/Testors kits I am fairly sure are accurate but my comments were more on using the Tamiya Quad cab 12 front and then using the Italeri/testors (cab13) roof and back to make an F15 cab as the cab 13 roof and cab back is different to a cab 12. I am not saying that they cannot be altered to be correct but to me it would be easier (and cheaper) to build new ones from plastic sheet.
The other thing to remember is you only use the nose of the Tamiya Quad so you have to build fron the bottom of the windscreen up as well.
The other problem is that the Tamiya kit is more 1/32 then 1/35 scale. So this just compounds the problem. I know this because I measured a real cab 12 and scratch built a cab 11 and the cab turned out narrower and lower then the Tamiya part. I used the axles, wheels and winch from the Tamiya kit and the rest is scratch built.
