Today is D-Day anniversary again and thoughts of what that means are in my mind a lot lately, and ...

You know, I'm sitting here wondering how many "gay" sons, daughters, grandchildren of Vets come through MLU full of longing, love and pride, researching the service of their fathers, grandfathers, Uncle's etc where this place is exactly about honouring and preserving the history and honouring those Vets.

I would think that part of honouring our Vets is to also honour and help their descendents who come here to learn about their family soldiers.

Who cares if people are gay, androgenous, neuter, black, red, yellow, white, PC or non-PC, whatever, when in here? It's irrelevant to the purpose of MLU and irrelevant to Vets and I also see insulting descendents as insulting the Vets they've come here to learn about.

Karmen.
