Gotta agree with NOrm, have a good friend who is gay and is without doubt the smartest 'man'/person I know. Has so many letters in front of his name he needs 2 business cards. I won't say I don't get the willies if one of his friends checks me out but what goes on in his bedroom is his business. He calls me "hopelessly heterosexual" and I can live with that moniker. I also won't say I haven't said a disparaging word about gays, but heck I've said a disparaging word just about everything at one time or another. To my shame really. And to those who think only people who are bookworms are gay , my friend used to date a Vancouver Canuck while the Canuck was still in the NHl and was known as lady killer. 10% of the population is gay so you all know someone who is, would you all of a sudden hate them if you found out?

Norm, Sean, et al: The one thing that Trudeau had right was that the State had no place in the nation's bedrooms. Quite right. If a man wants to stick his schlong up another man's dirt chute, and risk getting A.I.D.S, Hepatitis, or Gerbil fur up his uretha, that's his business... Just don't ask me to subsidize their nasty habit. And there in lies the rub, no pun intended. As soon as gay marriage is allowed, the spousal benefits follow, at the tax payers expense. The other problem I have with homosexuals, and I knew many in Vancouver, is that they are always wanting acceptance and validation for their choice, hence the Gay Pride parades and groups like A.C.T.U.P.
Gays, do what you want...just stay out of my face and out of my pocket book!

P.S. A Vancouver Canuck that was gay??!! No way!! Glenn Andersen never played for Vancouver!! It isn't Harold Snepts is it?
