Thanks for that, Steve.

I caught the very tail end of a news bit last night about D-Day ... I'm not sure if it was Calgary, or Vancouver news and was disappointed to miss seeing the whole report.

I went out briefly this evening and a young woman in about her twenties very openly looked at and read my D-Day T-Shirt I was wearing (the 60th Anniversary one from Normandy that Geoff brought back for me) ... When she finished she looked up at me with mixed feelings running across her face, awe, sadness, seriousness, and then a huge smile saying she REALLY liked my T-Shirt ... because she said she'd just watched a program about D-Day landings and interviews last night (June 6th) It looked like it was new information to her to learn something of D-Day and she was really happy to see me wearing the T-Shirt about it. She repected what it was about and told me she was glad I was wearing it for people to see.

She made my day! I thanked her profusely and told her how much I appreciated her noticing and knowing what the T-Shirt was all about. Beautiful.
