Same as with the late version the conduit bends 90 degrees forward and runs along the engine mount rail to the Junction box.

Junction block has a tee running vertically just below it with the off-shoot running to a flexible conduit that runs up the front edge of the engine ( the head ), that carries all electrical cabling for the engine ( i.e. generator to regulator, etc )

There is another tee that runs horizontally from the rear of the carrier below and connecting to the terminal block, through to the front of the carrier.
