Default Aussie Twin cab CMP conversion

Sometime after the war when CMPs were plentiful on the Crown disposals market our PMG (Post Office) decided to modify a number of 134" wheelbase CMPs to serve as line maintenance vehicles. To accommodate the line crew, a coachbuilt cab was designed where the standard cab 13 was used as a basis. The windscreen frame was mounted vertically and a wider bloated cab resulted.

This is what it looks like...

Most of the ones I have seen (about 5 or 6 over a period of 30 years) have been Chevs with one Ford.

The question is, how many were made and does anyone on the forum own one?
Mike Cecil, do you have any information?
