To the best of my knowledge, the
1st Canadian Armoured Carrier Regiment had NO carriers, just jeeps, trucks of various sorts, and of course, Ram Kangaroos. Having said that, I'm at work away from any documentation, so if anyone else can confirm or refute this in the interim, I'd be pleased.
FWIW, if they did have the odd carrier (more than likely scrounged in the nefarious Canadian tradition
), it would NOT have been used for troop lifts, any more than would a jeep or a 15cwt.
