Rob. TO answer your question, the O.D. of your rollers is a neat 3 inches and it's 7/8 thick the counter bore allows for the bearing as well as a thin steel plate that goes onto the pin first. it is the bottom seal. the pin has an eccentric where the bearing mounts that allows you to adjust the play out of the steering between the rollers and the cam plate. There is also a spacer at the top of
the roller (between the bearing and the clamp block) that also acts as the bearing top seal.
