5) Auld Lang Syne
Derek:

1. Vera Lynn's "We'll Meet Again"...epitomizes the Brit war time ethos...showing hope for the future.

2. Huh?

3. Die Valkure...isn't that Lohengrin's Ride of the Valkeries? (Apocalypse Now). We used to use that piece in order to terrorize troopies in recruit training during a night attack. Next morning was laundry parade!

4. Huh? Any relation to Evelyn, a modified dog? Arf, she said.

5. Auld Lang Syne...I was raised in Scotland and this tune is firmly planted in my psyche. I, being dark haired, would go "first footing" at midnight, thus bring luck to whomever was visited.

Thanks for replying.
