The double sided "A" frame ammo box bracket is used to support the Vickers ammo box, where the box is positioned on both sides of the bracket, the single sided "A" frame bracket is used in the rear right corner of the vehicle where the Vickers ammo boxs are positioned. This bracket is used in the forward position as there is only one Vickers ammo box to be supported. These brackets are also the same ones used in the front left gunners position- these brackets are the double sided "A" frame brackets.
In reality vehicle crews would have used either bracket providing the ammo boxs were supported.
This is depicted in a couple of photos in 'Australian military Equipment Profiles' by M. Cecil. I have also found this to be the case in several wrecks that I have found over the yeras.
