Mike, Alex... I don't think any man truly knows until he's been under fire. That's not my case either, although a bunch of drunken hunters once tried to nail my dad and I; we bellied in and used the available cover to escape & evade. Wasn't the same as what our lads have been going through, though. I like to think I'd "hold until relieved", but I guess I'll never know.
