BTW ... my new smoke alarm works great! Every time I open the oven to baste my bird, it goes off and I've had to wave towels and things and open my door (brrrr) so I just knocked it off the ceiling
THAT WORKED! I guess it's time to clean my oven of spatter
(the bird is fine!)
