You may find the info requested under the Resto section..... modern equivalent should be available...... best palces here in Canada are at farm tractor dealers as they tend to supply farmers who keep their old tractors for 5o ++ years and a lot of such parts were used in commercial and farm tractor set ups.
for example starter brushes on CMP 6 volts are the same as early Massey Ferguson tractors using similar Delco starters and generators...... besides M-F are british Perkins engine anyways.
