****you're right, in the medical field especially, we are way short handed. down here so much that the government has done several things to try and patch up the situation. one was to give some nurses the title of nurse practitioner, where they can examine you and perscribe drugs. then they set up a system at the hospital where you had to see a nurse before admittance to emergency to see a doctor. this nurse makes the decision if you get in, which for her/him, could come back to haunt them later. then they came out with a notice that said basically" if you aren't bleeding then see your family physician"....... if this keeps up i can see back alley, underground clinics becoming more prevalent.***

I have a distinct feeling that the West will break before Quebec. That would be the ultimate irony, but not surprising.

***i saw last night where the premier of alberta gave a speech regarding environmental policies which are to be enacted by ottawa...looks like he is scared to death of what it will do to the economy of alberta......we'll see***

BTW, my company's call center is now in India. That should tell you something, and it's nothing against East Indians. Our world is slowly going nuts.
***in my 32 years i have seen some very drastic changes in this country, and i can only imagine what is yet to transpire***
