Default Early # 12 Cab CGT

I am trying to date this photo. It was taken in 1941, and I suspect that it was spring or summer, judging by clothes and shadow lengths. The CGT has the # 12 Cab...which body by t he way?...which begs the question when did the 12 Cab come in production as I only have a sequential number:

WAS THE CHANGE-OVER POINT TO THE # 12 CAB AT # 084XX04002 AND 184XX05004? [SOLID WINDSCREEN BUT ADJUSTABLE AFTERWARDS]
THUMB SCREW TYPE ENGINE HOODS…BEFORE SERIAL # 084XX04001 AND # 184XX05004 (# 11 CABS)
ALLIGATOR TYPE HOOD..ON OR AFTER 084XX04001 AND 184XX05004 TO SERIAL # 284XX01523….(# 12 CABS
