I monitor anything to do with the type of instrument panels I restore and am amazed at the prices people pay for unrestored stuff. I couldn't live with myself if I was to venture up into those price brackets because I am acutely aware of the enormous costs restorers incur and the last thing they need is an OTT priced instrument panel. I could get a good price for some of my base materials but that would then leave me with any stuff to restore for genuine restorers. There is no thing as making a quick quid, just steady as she goes.
