Too many times does a post go off tangent but I feel this needs to be added.
Casselmans says this has nothing to do with hockey. Bullshit, I say! Why?
Because whether you enjoy the game of hockey or not, it is an inevitable part of Canadian culture. It is the same as french toast, the beaver, the maple leaf- a symbol of our identity. Our youth idolizes hockey players like gods. Their behaviour both on the ice and off influences Canadian youth.

It is obvious to me that this coward is a power tripper, racking up huge penalty points by being a short fused, on ice bully. Nothing more than a paid thug really. We all know the value of a good defenceman, but similar to commandoes, they need intense discipline and a short leash to keep them inline.
This piece of s**t needs to be kicked out of the game permanently just for being an a**hole. He should be shunned by his community. I would love to hear what Hockey loudmouth Don Cherry has to say about this one, afterall, he always speaks highly of our troops.

Being the man that he is, I am sure Collin Fitzgerald will hold his head and graciously let justice do its thing.
