Correct........the Matador was one of two built for Duxford air museum, it towed trailers, built from bomb trolleys which visitors rode on. A very accurate scale model using Mini engines and transmissions, the driver sat in the back body. They were sold off a few years ago and this one is seen parked in the REME historic vehicle collection storage.
The Humber Snipe staff car was originally in the Beverley museum but it was moved to the REME collection, and yes David, it does carry both wartime and post-1947 (circa) census numbers.
