Yes, I recall that problem now, i'd quite forgotten about it actulally as most vehicles have been modified nowadays.
I looked at buying one that has recently been rebuilt because a snapped belt had lunched the engine. Pity I couldn't afford it as it was in good nick and cheap, but I couldn't bring myself to sell one of the other landies to buy it
