I've been reading through some of the transcripts (they also have the videos!) of these peoples memories of WW2 and just finished reading this one from a Gentleman who landed right behind the RWR's ... parts 6 and 7 especially touched me deeply ...

There are many interviews in the site from WW1 and other Wars as well. Note how many pages of interviews for WW2 Vets. Incredible, and totally awesome.
