It looks like it would be a handful, but no doubt they were never in a hurry. you are right about the engine, I am restoring a Snipe staff car at present, the engine being the same size as fitted in Commer trucks and Humber armd. cars, it has an easy life in the cars.

Incidentally, during your trawling through photos on web sites, I am seeking photos of Humber staff cars in RAF service during the war, please let me know if you come across any.
