Disruptive Camouflage painting

At this point, the official disruptive painting scheme used by the British (and Canadian) armies was based on Military Training Pamphlet No.20, which called for 2-colours, a base and a darker shade used for the disruptive pattern. The pattern itself was to be horizontal-diagonal vs vertical. (see attached diagram). The paint jobs shown in the photos are not based on this.
I suggest they were applied to vehicles meant for public display by the manufacturers (to look 'warlike') as opposed to any office National Defense plan.
