The MW belongs to Peter Sayer, the uncle of the Morris owner. The Morris Quad belongs to Dougie Sayer the Morris owner's father! (we are a close knit family organisation in deepest Suffolk complete with webbed fingers). Did your spy take a photo of the quad from the other side by chance, if so you will also know he was showing both the limber and 25 pounder. Hell of a good looking trio on the road.
I have a feeling the MW is finished in faded British army IR military paint of the mid seventies, with a number of applications of WD40 over the years.
