David, I have a friend not too far away that also has an R100, and I feel sure he will have the info you require so I will endeavor to get over to see him.

I have a 1942 SV2S, as well as a Jeep and AEC Matador. The Scammell is under a nut and bolt restoration, we now have a bare chassis painted and are slowly peicing things back together.
