NEWS - Gotcha'! Again!
Cranbrook RCMP had to use a taser Sunday morning, but unlike other highprofile incidents, no one died.
Police were informed of an unlawful confinement, and en route to the call, saw a vehicle possibly related to the situation.
The driver tried to evade police, but RCMP finally pulled the vehicle over.
The front male passenger resisted arrest, and after being handcuffed, damaged the police car's window. He was subdued with a taser.
Stephen Eric Davis Rephin was arrested on several charges, and known to police.
A second male passenger, also known to police, was arrested. Colin Raymond Correia is facing previous charges of assault with a weapon.
Both had been out on their own recognizance.
The woman driving the car was arrested, too.
