You do not say what type of body, if any, that your project has. I have found some references to Amazons as below.

The RAF Museum in Hendon has a copy of a Makers Instruction Book for Amazons. They might be able to tell you where to get a copy.

Another possibility for information may be the REME Museum in Arborfield, Berkshire.

I found a mention of the Yorkshire Air Museum having one, but it seem to be stated as an AEC!
