Holdens made the 3 ribbed roof cab from 36 to 38 , these cabs were shared to Bedfords, Chevys and the Oldsmobile trucks of that era. The pic looks like a 1938 Chev to me , the 37 had the vertical bar grill . A new ribless cab was released for the 39 model trucks and it was unique as it used the 1936 ? passenger car style round instruments . For 1940 Holdens modified the 39 cab slightly and went to the ubiquitous Chevy instrument panel that 'salesman Bob' knows so well , that cab lasted til 47 .
