I know what your feeling. I am an administrator on another forum (living history group) and we eventually had to shut down and lock the registration. We had sooooo many bogus accounts set up each day that it would sometimes take an hour just to go in and delete them all and ban the email/IP addresses. We have the same approval system to go through before you can post and it was really easy to pick out the non legit ones. However it was such a daily pain
because my email system would get bogged down with notices of a new member wishing approval.
I do have to say that it was fun running the various IP addresses and seeing whereabouts they were coming from. I figure I have banned various Russian/ Eastern European mobs along with a few Asian ones for good measure that are all involved in adult only websites.
