My 1940 Cab 11 F15A has serial # 1G 10495 F and would have been made in August 1940. Yours is about 2300 units earlier so should have been made in July.
Where did you find the serial number? (It's actually the motor number but served as the serial number too on the Cab 11s and 12s.) The number would be on the motor and on the top of the bell housing as well as on the side of the frame on the passengers side.
Mine has Chev axles front and rear and Chev shocks on the rear.
I have extra F15A axles but shipping would be a killer. Post a few pix when you get time.
