Default Just to KornPhuze things a bit....

There is always some magical date at which production changes have (or supposed to ) taken place..... or so we think until a particular Friday evening shift when they ran out of parts and dug out what was available in the back shelf of the stock room.... or was is specified to be built as such as it was going to Australia...???

Here are two pictures of the instrument panel of a C60.....built as an Australian contract..... that never left Canada.... the C60 had small C15a axles and 16 inch rims...... build date is Sept 1944..... and it sports the early civilian dash..... with the typical Australian 5 and 3 switch panel.....

....but wait.... why was a similar C60 with odd sized axles be built for the same contract ...10 days earlier.....with round guages....? ...sorry my pics do not show the switch arrangements....

If only these old trucks could talk..... the stories they could tell....
