This weekend a Battle of the Atlantic memorial parade was held in Londonderry. There is one every year and members of all local ex-service associations take part in a service at the memorial at Lisahally.
At this time those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Battle are remembered and honoured; of whatever nation, service or civilian, warship, passenger, or cargo ship
