The two most commonly used rear lights during the war were the Rubbolite No.2 (see picture) and later the Lucas Type L/WD/T1.

Early war soft skin vehicles used a variety of various patterns and the drivers hand books for those particular contracts normally give details.

The Canadian pattern is very close to the Rubbolite No.2 and I used them on my Humber Armoured Car. Luckily Dirk stills has stocks of them.
