As anyone who has studied, worked on or rode in type 12 Cabs, you will know what a complex piece of kit it is. The front end sheet metal of the Tamiya kit is too wide and the floor sits too high. These two things put all the angles of the hood way out of whack. Fix 'em and you are getting there.
One modeller remarked on how narrow the cab looked. I told him to go find a restored Cab 12 and sit in it. You will find out just how narrow and cramped it really is.

I scratchbuilt my 11 cab rather then try and alter the Tamiya kit parts.
