1974 AM GENERAL M151A2
Vehicle Description

This vehicle was purchased in 2004 with the intention of restoring it. This vehicle would make a great restoration vehicle, or an equally great off road vehicle.

It's 98% complete and unmodified from stock configuration, and comes with many nos parts to help finish the job.

The engine and drivetrain work very well. It has a new top, doors, side curtains, seat cushions (bottom), and 24v hot water heater installed. The tires are stock and have 75% of their tread remaining. A new exhaust head pipe, windsheild frame, and brake shoes X4 are included with the vehicle. This vehicle has 2 new batteries installed. many new old stock parts are included with the vehicle which include, top, doors, side curtains, battery box cover, head pipe, pintle hitch, brake shoes, wind sheild wipers, windsheild washer pump, and a grille. Used parts include front suspension and steering parts including steering box, upper/ lower control arms, brake backing plates, drums, drag link, etc.

The body will need some work in the rear panel, front floor boards, and in the uniframe. These panels and the uniframe kits are available online, and are quite reasonable. The exhaust header pipe is broken, the windsheild frame is bent, and the brakes will also need some attention.

It has been cut and rewelded by a previous owner.

A full set of manuals on cd will be included as well as a hard copy of the operators manual.

NOTES:

This vehicle has never been registered in the civilian system, but I can provide a receipt.
This vehicle is offered with no warranties expressed or implied in any way, and will be sold AS IS WHERE IS.
Interested parties can view the vehicle by appointment.
It is my understanding that the m151 family of vehicles cannot be imported into the United States, so it will be sold to Canadian residents only.
I reserve right to end auction early as it has been advertised locally. Shipping/pickup is the responsibility fo the buyer, as are all associated charges.
